Quinta Mazatlan offers you enjoyment, education, camaraderie and an introduction to the natural and cultural history of the Valley – both past and present. Guests will enjoy the interpretive presentations including the history of the families of Quinta Mazatlan, flora and fauna of South Texas and more. Concert Under the Stars

Enjoy the music of Texas’ very own Tish Hinojosa under the stars at Quinta Mazatlan. Tish Hinojosa will feature a collection of her songs from her children’s CD “Cada Nino-Every Child”, her newest CD “Our Little Planet” and many more favorites. Her music crosses borders-between cultures and languages. Inspired by the traditional Mexican songs of her parents’ radio, Tish will be performing her own songs in both English and Spanish!

Nature Discovery Camp

School Science Series

Educational programming for specific grade levels during the school year designed to meet TEKS Science and Social Study objectives. The purpose of the field trip is to learn more about our unique habitat in south Texas by studying the flora and fauna.

AGES: Kinder through 5th Grade
DATES: Tuesdays and Fridays
TIME: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (children bring lunch)
FEE: $5.00 per student;
Class minimum of 15 students or $75 program fee;
Class Maximum of 60 students;
Teachers and Chaperones are free
RESERVE: Advance registration, payment and preparation required.
Purchase Order or Payment required in advance for reservation.
