Summer Camps

Quinta Mazatlan invites you to add a little science to your child’s summer! Throughout the holiday months there will be exciting and fun ways for ages 6 - 14 to explore nature and science.

Summer Discovery Camps are offered from Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 am-12 pm.

Summer 2018 Schedule:

  • June 12-15th: DINOSAUR CAMP (Ages 6-9)

    Dinosaur Camp offers an exciting week of “paleontology”, where children will dig for bones, chip away at fossils, and learn about the carnivores and herbivores that once lived on this continent. $50 Residents fee/$60 Non-Resident fee

  • June 19-22nd: ROBOTICS CAMP (Ages 10-14)

    Robotics experts will train children to build, code and “drive” their team robot using computer technology, with a short nature walk each day. This is a special camp offered through local engineers. $75 Residents fee/$80 Non-Resident fee
  • June 26-29th: INTRO to ROBOTICS (Ages 7-9)

    Robotics experts will train children to build, code, and “drive” their team robot using computer technology, with a short nature walk each day. This is a special camp offered through local engineers. $75 Residents fee/$80 Non-Resident fee
  • July 10-13: SURVIVOR SKILLS CAMP (Ages 10-12)

    Campers learn to make rope from agave, find forest food, build a fire with native wood, use a bow and arrow, make temporary shelter, identify snakes and poisonous plants, and safely tackle the heat! $50 Residents fee/$60 Non-Resident fee


  • July 17-20th: CAMP QUINTA (Ages 6-9)

    Camp Quinta weaves environmental science into the old-fashion campground experience. Campers will set up tents, learn how to go fishing, explore nature, make s’more and even identify a few constellations. It’s all the fun of camping…just without the overnight part. $50 Residents fee/$60 Non-Resident fee


  • July 31st-August 3rd: WILD ART CAMP (Ages 6-12)

    Campers learn about geology, soils, water, chlorophyll, tree bark, feathers, and more, with sessions on painting, sculpting, nature mosaics and more. $50 Residents fee/$60 Non-Resident fee
